    Just came back from Subway's with my supper: 12-inch cheese steak sandwich, hot from the oven, on special italian bread. Good stuf.

    Looking on subway's website, it's described as follows: For those of you who are not familiar with South Street, the Schuylkill River or the significance of William Penn’s hat, the Cheese Steak is not a steak made of cheese, but rather a delicious steak sandwich made with cheese. Inspired by the hoagie that made Philadephia famous, Subway’s version of the Cheese Steak features mouth-watering slices of lean and tender steak with sautéed onions and green peppers topped with melted cheese.     Speaking of which, last week I was given a bottle of Macallan Cask. Very good, but it's got a bite and a half. Nearly 120 proof, which I've never had before in scotch.

    I'm a big fan of Macallan 12yr and 18yr. I've had the 15 yr twice and I honestly can't tell enough of a difference between the 12 and the 15 to justify the price difference. The 18 is damn fine though, if ya ask me. One of these days, I'm going to shell out the dough and pick up a bottle of the 25 yr stuff.

    For lunch, I am having three pieces of spicy, tender lamb chops, with rice, mashed potatoes, some salad and a minestrone soup. Pepsi bottle to top it off.
