Thoughts on the first episode of Conan?

It wasn't quite the spectacle that his first week of The Tonight Show was, but with TBS's budget, who expected that? I still really enjoyed seeing Conan and Andy back, plus a lot of the usual friends we have seen over the years. The Godfather and Mad Men gags were great, plus we saw our favorite bear again.

All in all, it was a solid first episode. The last five minutes with him and Jack White on stage was the highlight for me. I just hope TBS lets him run a bit wild as opposed to NBC where he obviously tamed down elements with moving to an earlier slot.

i thoroughly enjoyed it. Doesnt have to be on the floor funny, all I wanted was my good ol Conan back and he delivered. I was happy.

I thought it was a lot better than any of his Tonight Show episodes. Conan on the Tonight Show was a terrible interviewer and seemed stiff. Last night was the complete opposite.

For a middle-aged broad I consider my raunch tolerance to be pretty high, but after suffering through several films/shows in the last couple of years containing about 55 million stupid references to the male genitalia, that was just plain and simple and much funnier!

I about rolled off the bed during the skit last night with the "censor".

Tom Hanks was incredible as always. He's an amazing interview. This is gonna be a great show.
