Yeah, you can buy a system, but what will it get you? Decent to great 1st party games and garbage 3rd party games. Face it, the Wii sucks. I have one and I never play it, primarily because there are no games for it that are worth a crap except the Mario games (Kart, SMB, etc). The PS3 and Xbox are technically superior to the Wii in every way, especially since they now have motion capability. The PS3 is the best system simply because it has Blu-Ray and doesn't break as easily as the XBox.

how much of the casual market that sony and microsoft want so much of, will actually care that the ps3 and 360 is technically superior to the wii?

say if Nintendo actually did the Wii HD at E3 and the only difference was HD graphics with nothing else different from the first Wii, would you go buy one? I can bet no you won't and neither will the casual market who has a Wii already. Maybe some of the hardcores comes back but not enough.

thats the problem with nintnedo doing a Wii HD or Sony and Microsoft doing Move/Kinect, the casual market who spent 200-300 on a system and more on games and controllers won't buy another sysem for the same motion controls with no differences.

if nintendo thought they could get away with a Wii HD, they would have done it long ago

You two are arguing two completely different subjects.

Frankly, I don't really care who outsales who. Being a video game geek I care about which system is better and has better capabilities, of which the Wii isn't.

The Wii sells so much because it's family friendly and a lot of the casual market likes that. That's awesome for nintendo, but not so much for the video game geeks.

It also help that the Wii is affordable for most of the casual market. I don't own a Wii but most of my close friends does. I own a PS3 (the 1st gen) and had for a year and a half now. Not one problem. I see a ton of RRoDs from the X360 from where I work, but at the same time the newer PS3s (the one before the slims) have had trouble as well.

My brother must have gotten lucky, though. (well, sorta)

He bought his 360 the same time I bought my PS3: January of 2008

My PS3 has worked like a charm since and is still running great.

Danny had an issue with his first 360, but it wasn't the RRoD. His door wouldn't open or something like that. This happened within a month and he traded it in for another one and that one has worked great for him since.

Anybody here play the WWE Smackdown vs Raw series? I haven't watched wrestling or played the games in years. Not since it was just called "smackdown".

Anyway, I guess where I'm getting at is that the latest edition is due to come out next month. I know they used to be a lot of fun and have been contemplating checking it out.

These games are still very fun.. I purchased the 2010 version and loved it. If you are debating on getting it I say go ahead and get it.. It's worth it.

Can anyone who has NBA Live 06 confirm if virtually all the teams' retro uniforms are included in the game?

L.A. Noire came out today.. The game is simply unbelievable. I've only played it for about 4 or 5 hours but I'm already in love with it.

The graphics and facial expressions on this game are the best I've ever seen.. Hands down.

This game has a shit load to it. XBOX had to have this game get put on 3 different disks because this game is so big.

If any of you guys are thinking about getting this game, I HIGHLY recommend it. This game is fun, challenging, different and will bring you entertainment for hours and hours.

I have a PS2 still and got a Wii on black friday last year!!
