Well folks, I held off on posting this here cuz I wasn't sure how this was going to come out, but here it is.

I have landed my own weekly ESPN radio show on 940 and 1510 ESPN Radio in Brookfield, CT. I'm calling the show The Bonnfire (I know, simply amazing).

It's a local show out of a small affiliate station, but anyone can listen online. The website for listening online can be found on the show's website that I created, here: The Bonnfire - Home

If anyone wants to take a listen, feel free, it's going to be fun. It's extremely free-form, as the Program Director for the station told me I can talk about anything I want as long as I don't swear or make penis jokes

The first show will be this Sunday at 12 PM EST and will run 2 hours, and it's guaranteed to be an absolute disaster of radio, as it will be my first time doing anything live for more than about 5 minutes.

For the first show, I'm featuring a segment on Manny Ramirez, and I am interviewing a former bodybuilder turned doctor who knows basically everything about anabolic steroids. He will shed some light on what steroids Manny took, as well as A-Rod, and he will describe in detail what these guys go through to give themselves a cycle of steroids. It should be a very informative interview. I wanted to talk in some length about Manny but it had been so overreported that I decided to take a different angle on it.

congrats are in order I suppose. Radio, like the newspaper is somewhat of a dying medium, but it does seem to have connected more with the internet than the newspaper.

Haha well done Prov. And yes, it is a dying media, not as much as newspaper, but it is going. However, I'm going to be riding it all the way down it seems haha, unless I somehow make the switch to TV, which I don't really feel like doing just yet.
