Considering the massive amount of money that goes into hosting the Olympics, and the fact that no city makes any money doing it (at the time or in the future), I hope that the Olympics never come back to the United States.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

So, what to do with Conan's "Suck It Paris" T-shirts?

I was listenting to the radio and they were interviewing some people from NY and the consensus opinion from them was ehhh I don't care. Really seems like what New Yorkers would think too. Paris and London cared a ton from what I saw.

Congrats to London. They were the best city to host the Olympics this time around.

Having the Olympics does get revenue back. You get revenue from people staying in hotels, eating, transportation, etc. Cities do make money by hosting the olympics, if they didn't, olympics really wouldn't exist because no city would care to host them.

    NY in 2016!!!

I've seen some stuff about Athens and I'm not 100% sure this is for sure but supposedly they lost a TON of money from the Olympics. I think that even includes revenue from hotels and such. They spent $1 billion on security. That's a lot to make back up.
