    LOL My Growing Hat Collection

So about May I decided I wanted to buy a new hat. And ever since than I have been going off, and buying a bunch of new ones, and I think I am growing a decent collection. Call me weird, but I always go for the 59Fifty style, and always go for the on field style hats, no big thuggin' ones for me.

So here it is, various internet pictures of my collection. What'ya all think? What should I get next? How bad do I suck compared to your collection of hats?

    Re: My Growing Hat Collection

I collect hats and have for a while. I own over 50 hats, and Brown and LJ can attest that I am ALWAYS wearing one. I feel naked without one. I try to wear a variety of ones around, but I do definitely have ones that I wear a lot more often than others. That being said, I only have about 3 different baseball ones. I have 2 Yankees and 1 Rays hats. But hats are awesome. They are a big part of my life and who I am.

    Quick question for you folks.
Have gotten anything from "American Needle"? I've never seen them around these parts, and I was looking at a couple of there products on someone's ebay site, with the thoughts of picking one up.

It's the 70's A's hat Prov has, 3rd from the left in the front row.

    Re: My Growing Hat Collection

I have a few American Needle hats (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th from the left in the first row / two are 70s, one 1929, and the other is 1930). I got those right off the MLB online shop.

edit: yes it does still work and it's 20% off at MLB shop. I'm not sure if they ship to Canada or not. the coupon needs to be typed in all caps: STATEFARM09

I usually get my hats when I go to games. I just go to pro shops or the stadium store. My wife tells me I have too many hats though, so I won't likely get any more this year. The latest 2 I picked up were the "stars & stripes" red and navy Twins caps. They are nicely done.

    Re: My Growing Hat Collection

I got 1 hat from lids.com. I got some from MLBshop.com. The gray one that says Oakland I actually got when we went out to Oakland for games. I got some from New Era's website, too. I got many of my hats from this site:

Fitted Hats Caps NBA NFL MLB by New Era Reebok Zephyr at hatland.com

It's a physical store in Baltimore. They always have nice sales around any holiday and free priority shipping if you buy 3 or more hats. I've never had an issue with them; it's just an awesome store.

Many of my hats are game hats, Cooperstown hats, and minor league hats. I do have some "fashion" hats. I wouldn't really say any of the ones I have are "thuggy" as you say Foster, but I know what you mean. I've worn them all at least once, but there are a few I way more often. Some are hanging on one of the rack type things that Lids sells and the rest are in 3 of those New Era foam injected cases that hold 6 hats a piece. Eventually, I want to get enough of those for all of my hats, but it's been a while since I bought one...or even a hat for that matter. I think the last hat I bought was the 1st one from the left in the front row.

Gonna have to check that one out, they seem to have a pretty nice collection there for sale.
I see they have their 'Pre Back to School" Sale on now, so I may have to make a purchse, as I have been looking for an A's hat for some time now, just haven't been able to find one with my size, as I gots me a small head, 7 1/8.

I hate to break this to you, but you haven't won as much accolades like LeBron James has for you wear the hats of multiple teams with pride.

King James doesn't have the balls to wear a Pirates hat, or Expos hat like I do.

    Re: My Growing Hat Collection

This should make you proud. Picked it up today.

I have some military history in the family, so I thought the SD hat was a nice little addition, even though it isn't the best looking headwear.
