Movies that I have recently watched:

    - District 9, which I give a solid 8/10, could have been higher if it weren't for the shaky camera.

    - Whip It, which was surprisingly good because Ellen Page is awesome. A nice coming-of-age movie. 8.5/10

    - The Invention of Lying, which had a cool concept, but only produced mild laughs. Could have been better, so a 6.5/10. But it does star Jennifer Garner, so it means that our buddy Kingdom_of_Zito will have to purchase the movie on Blu Ray. Or DVD or whatever they still use in WV.

    Long overdue update, I've seen:

    - 2012, which is either amazing if you disregard the fact that the plot is terrible, way over-the-top not believable, as well as the fact that Running list of 2009 movies you've seen.THE WORLD DOESN'T EVEN ****ING END LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO!!! If you disregard all the plot holes and just enjoy the special effects and enjoy watching people die, then the movie's pretty decent. But otherwise, you'll hate it, deservedly so.

    - Pirate Radio, which was okay, but I wouldn't watch it again. Only thing I have to say about this movie is that British people are ****ing creepy. Brush your ****ing teeth.

Going to hit up Ninja Assassin as soon as I get out of work.

    How is Nine?

    Movies I've seen:
Star Trek (my favorite movie of the year and I am not a trekkie).
He's Just Not That Into You (I thought it was really cute).
Public Enemies (the movie was not that well directed. Some characters were not well developed. Didn't really get to understand Christian Bale's motivation and such. And for some other characters, it just seems like they just popped out without any purpose).
    Confession of a Shopaholic
(don't think you guys want a review of that).
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (the special effect was amazing. It was better than previous ones).
Bride War (pretty bad, saw it only because it was offered on my flight to China).
Sunshine Cleaning (very enjoyable, one of those quirky movies like Little Miss Sunshine).

    Want to see:
    Princess and the Frog
    Avatar
    Sherlock Holmes
Astroboy (because I took a class that discussed a bit about anime)

2009 has been a weak year for movies. I am looking forward to the remake of CLASH OF THE TITANS in March, 2010.

Just say Sherlock Holmes the other day and really enjoyed it. Though officially it was already 2010.
