    Movies DVD Recommendations

On a similar note to what KOZ is doing, I'm heading to Best Buy with gift cards sometime over the next few days, and I wanna add to my DVD collection.

Right now, my collection is very small, but because a lot of DVD's are cheap there, I can get a bunch. Right now, I own:

    The Dark Knight
    Major League
All 3 Lord of the Rings movies
    Seabiscuit
    Fever Pitch
    Bull Durham
    The Natural
    Talladega Nights
    Friday Night Lights
    Dodgeball
Family Guy Seasons 1 and 2
    House Seasons 1, 2, and 3
    The Simpsons Seasons 1, 2, 5, and 7
    Team America: World Police
    Forgetting Sarah Marshall
    Tropic Thunder
    Knocked Up
    Billy Madison
    Air Force One
    Field Of Dreams

I know for SURE I want to get:
    The Express
    Step Brothers

Now assuming money is no object, I'm looking for brainstorming. Basically, name some movies(especially sports movies) that you would recommend I look into.

    Re: DVD Recommendations

Well, my aunt works at a DVD distribution company, so I probably could get my copy early...but either way, I will probably make more than one trip, since I doubt I'll find all these DVD's in one place.

Taking a note from KoZ's avatar: Forgetting Sarah Marshall is one of the more underrated comedies of the last year.

I second Pulp Fiction on Foster's list. GREAT movie.

Also some VERY good, but lesser known movies:
    Children of Men
    Man on Fire
    Frequency

    Re: DVD Recommendations

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is BRILLIANT my friend, just brilliant.
I'll echo the Bourne and Ocean's trilogies. Bourne is great if you're looking for some good action/spy thriller stuff (as is the excellent Casino Royale), and Ocean's are a lot of light caper fun with a great cast.
Good thrillers: Se7en and Memento are both pretty jaw-dropping, can't recommend either of them enough. Gone Baby Gone is one of the most thought-provoking movies I've seen.
My favorite 2 movies of last year (almost inseperable): No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood...TWBB is worth getting if just for Daniel Day-Lewis's performance, heavy but great, and NCFOM has a bit of everything - one of the great villainous performances ever IMO by Javier Bardem, some quirky comedy, some good action, a fantastic cast, etc.
And if you want another semi-sports movie...can't go wrong with Rounders. Awesome cast (Damon, Norton, Turturro, Malkovich), it's a lot of fun, and you get to see John Malkovich with a crazy Russian accent!
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.
