    Opinion Your Top 5 Presidents

Just for fun in all this presidential talk thought give everyone a chance to list their 5 they thought did the best. Full disclosure (if anyone couldnt tell) I am Right Center politically.

    5 Thomas Jefferson
4 FDR- The Right man for the right time.
3 Ronald Regan- Rekindled a sense of faith in the American spirit. "the city on the hill"
2 Abraham Lincoln- Saved the Union, did anything he could think to help him understand what was going on during the Civil War. Had a great cabinet and a great head.
1 George Washington- Without George many of the traditions would never had come to pass. He was the table setter who set the rest into motion, many men would not have been able to do the job he did under the circumstances.
HollywoodLeo: You and Kingdom always annoy me
"Oh, don't mind me, I'm rebuilding now" then you win at least 80 games

I like your list especially your thoughts on Washington. I couldn't agree more. He understood the importance of being the first President and did not let the new country down. My list would be a little different. At least we can agree on which Presidents will be the best

    5. JFK- This is more of what he did for a nation in his short time and the things he set out to do before being gunned down. He started the Civil Rights movement and NASA programs but Johnson steals his credit. He avoided two nuclear threats and set out to end our involvement in Vietnam.
    4. FDR- Only president to serve more than two terms pretty much says it all. The man handled crisis after crisis and America still stood strong.
    3. Thomas Jefferson- One of the founding fathers and author of the Declaration of Independence. He is the father of Democracy and very fitting he died on July 4th.
    2. Lincoln- Doesn't need an explanation
    1. Washington- For the reasons stated above.

What I like a lot about Jefferson is how smart he was.. he had an incredible mind.

What was impressive about Lincoln was that he was able to fight two wars, civil war, and a war inside, despite his personal problems, he was able to accomplish this much, is amazing.

    Re: Your Top 5 Presidents

(I don't have Jefferson because I think that his major contributions weren't as President. It's the same reason I don't include John Adams)
    6. Millard Filmore: 13th President lent his name to the boring comic
    5. Ronald Reagan: Only liberal hate would insult what he did economically for the future of capitalism
    4. FDR: 4 term President for a reason
    3. Abraham Lincoln: He is a George Bush that went better. He presided over the separation of our country and slavery, but regardless of what his detractors thought, he corrected those problems. I'm convinced had Bush not seen the recent economic collapse in office, history would remember him as a modern Lincoln.
    2. JFK: It isn't what he did in office, although he did accomplish a lot in a short time. It's what he stood for, as the embodiment of America's hearts and souls. While he may have had a flawed personality, his leadership in rhetoric were nearly unparalleled.
    1. George Washington: True OG

Lewis and Clark, separation between church and state and the Louisiana Purchase were just a few things Jefferson did during his presidency. Pretty big deals if you ask me
