Exactly. McCain had no knowledge of the economy, a shitty economic advisor, and made one of the dumbest VP choices in recent history. What positive did he have going for him?

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. At least we didn't have eight years of constant ****ups with any of those men!! Bush will go down as one of if not THE worst president of all-time. Johnson leads us into Vietnam with no plan, so did Bush. Ford and Carter didn't leave office with a depression-like economy. That is just two of Bushie's ****ups.

Bush's plan was to fight the war on terror. Yeah, he might have bitten off more than he could chew, but he knew what he was doing.

How on earth can you say he knew what he was doing?? No exit strategy, borrowing from the Chinese to pay off insurgents, wrong country, etc.

Did we have an exit strategy for WWII? Korea? Vietnam? Persian Gulf (the first time)?

We are still in all those locations, and the middle east is going to be the same way.

I can't stand that people would think our leaders would think we knew about that event. It infuriates me

I can, at least, buy knowing about it.

    I don't believe it, but it's plausible.

Anyone who thinks the government orchestrated it, especially in the way the videos/websites insinuate, are complete morons, though.

So shouldn't we have learned from our mistakes in Vietnam?? Bush Sr. knew better than to take Saddam out and WWII was a war of necessity and a totally different situation. Don't ever compare WWII to the Iraq invasion!! Sorry but no intelligent person can say Bush knew what he was doing. Bush himself has said as much.

They had all the warning signs telling them of the attack but in no way did they plan it!!

Carter had the misery index when inflation was high and unemployment was high. The economy was in the crapper through a lot of the 70's.

bush is likely going to be in the lower third of presidency, but you mean to tell me he's worse than hoover? carter? andrew johnson? buchanan? harding? grant?
