Maybe the movie The Express inspires the Orange to pull out an upset.
I hope not.

Eclectic group of films, as Billy Murray and Tim Robbins head a family film, Ridley Scott joins up with Russell Crowe again, Dennis Quaid gets into sports again, and someone thought it was a good idea to combine Blair Witch like elements with a virus and a lot of claustrophobia. It's just another week of movies. Rumble time!

The Express premeired here before the Penn State game. Sure didn't inspire them then. No reason it'll happen a second time around.

No I have not personally seen it yet.

We basically had an entire weekend devoted to it before the Penn State game. They had all the actors there for the premeire in the middle of downtown Syracuse, and they had Jim Brown and Floyd Little here as well. They also attended the Penn State game (oops). They even dedicated a statue of Ernie Davis here during the weekend (which was filled with controversy because he had a Nike check mark on his cleat, and Nike wasn't even around when he played). It was a HUGE deal here. And from what I've heard (I actually did a package on the football team's reaction to the movie for the radio station I work at), it's INCREDIBLY realistic and like the story, as well as very well made and emotional. I thought it was gonna be another run-of-the-mill football movie, but from what I've heard it's actually very good.

Seconded exactly what Kyle said. I mean, I can't wait to see the movie. It comes out this week, and I will probably be one of the first people in line. Luckily my girl went home for the week, so nothing can stop me from going to the midnight showing...
