When I was about 7, I saw this movie ending where a degenerative gambler who was indebted to the Triads was tortured and thrown over a freeway bridge and collided with an oncoming big rig while his pregnant girlfriend was shot and killed as she fled.

So, no, I don't want to hear about how stupid prerecorded sound effects and some intended piss poor lighting gave you the creeps.

Most chilling moment from a TV show ever in my 20-so years of television-watching has to be right at the end of Sue's jury speech at the end of the first Survivor. That moment oozed of wtf-ness and "oh my god did she just say that"-ness.
