yea, that's what my g/f says...she wanted to see the 2nd one so I surprised her with the order of the IMAX tickets for Monday, which is her birthday. We're going out to dinner and then to the movie. The movie wasn't part of the birthday present really, more of an add on I guess. I had already got her stuff (her NIN ticket for August and a lifetime warranty on a piece of jewelry I had bought her for Christmas 2 years ago; they only had 1 year warranties at the time of purchase and now they have lifetime). The dinner was part of the birthday present though.

those are great presents man. i gotta use some of those in the future, i SUCK when it comes to thinking of presents for anyone, let alone girlfriends.

plus, adding DK IMAX tickets is perfect, cuz it works out for you too "hey honey, i got you tickets to Dark Knight!" *mumbling to yourself* yes! now i can go too!

yeah, we were probably going to go to NIN anyway. She's never seen them though. I saw them once in 2000. All the shows we both go to are ones that I want to go to and I always pay for the tickets since it's what I want to see. She went to see Timberlake once with her friend, but there was no way in hell I was going to that lol. She bought my Radiohead tickets for my birthday, which I would have gotten either way, but that was part of my present from her.

She wanted to see DK anyway so I just figured why not IMAX on Monday since we were already going to be there. She wanted to go to Cheesecake Factory, which is at the Providence Place Mall...and they have an IMAX there.

I just got back and it was worth every penny, and then some.

It's always nice when a hyped up movie actually lives up to the hype.

I generally never go to watch a movie at the theater a 2nd time. (I've only done it once, ever)

I'll do it a 2nd time, perhaps next weekend.
