Man... think out of the box people.... why go for small potatoes like athletes...

Hell.. if I could meet anyone, and time were not a factor... how could you go wrong with Jesus Christ or Leonardo DaVinci or Ben Franklin or various other ones that have made such a huge impact on the world?

Well.. we are in the hypothetical.... are we not??!!??

If you want just current times... athletes still have to be wayyyy down on the list... an athlete over the Dali Lama or over Stephen Hawking or other people who have huge worldwide or intellectual influence? Not me

Dave, this isn't meant to be complicated. Neither is it meant to go back in time.

IF its outside of sports I would like to meet FDR. You can go with Jesus, but my beliefs (which i wont unload on someone) is something i know will eventually happen anyways.

Yeah, yeah, I think we all would like to meet Jesus, FDR, Stalin, Hitler, Marx, Nixon, Teddy Rosevelt...but we can't. Be at least somewhat realistic: those people are dead.

Which is why I said if it was supposed to be current.. the Dali Lama, Stephen Hawking, or ones like that would top my list over any athlete

    Pat Williams, the Magic president.

I just love listening to him speak. He writes lot of books and all. His enthauism is infectious. I like to know a lot about success from him.

Joel Osteen would be another guy I would love to meet. He shares the same characteristic traits like Pat Williams.

Don't care for athletes, but I wouldn't mind talking baseball with Terry Mullholland.
