DVD Deal @ Gamestop

So, I was at gamestop yesterday, and I saw that they had a rack of used DVDs with a sign to emphasize a sale. I asked for clarification, because I was unsure whether it was buy 2 get the 3rd free, or buy 2 get 3 free. The employee responded "buy 2 get 3 additional free...in other words, an amazing deal."

So, I got 5 DVDs for 14 dollars yesterday. Tell me what you think of my selection, with price in mind:

1-Seabiscuit
2-The Natural
3-Fever Pitch
4-Friday Night Lights
5-Bull Durham

Now, I know they're all used, but to get those 5 good sports movies for 14 dollars? I can't imagine finding a deal like that too often.

that's a great deal! holy crap. i've loved gamestop from the beginning (actually my #1 alltime favorite store for a technology geek like me), but this just makes them phenomenal. they're so helpful and knowledgeable there too.

Fever Pitch is so far off the original...

it was originally a book about soccer, then it was made into a movie of a similar nature, and lastly they bastardized it by making it a baseball movie about the Red Sox starring Jimmy Fallon...the writer of the book must be rolling in his grave assuming he's dead.

on a similar note about great deals today:

$26.99 for a 2-pack of ink for my printer/copier/scanner
$10 coupon off of a $25 purchase
$3 off per returned empty ink cartridge x 3 cartridges = $9 off

$7.99 total and $8.55 with tax.

oh, and I saved $2 on a chicken parm sub from Papa Gino's for lunch.
