    OOTP Help

Hey guys. I posted in the TPSL thread, but I figured I'd make its own. I'd like some help with OOTP, particularly in how to import and export lineups and such with the sites. I just bought it, and I'm kind of overwhelmed with it. If someone could help me out either over AIM (my sn is giantsfan5689) or over PM, that would be immensely appreciated. Thanks guys.

If I had the game handy I could walk you through but I haven;t had OOTP for the longest time.

I think it's Team Setup, Enter the league info and stuff, and hit export lineups, and you'll probably have to allow it with an anti-virus.

    Simple enough.

I just figured it out myself. lol I did it all the time on OOTP 6.5, but OOTP 8 is set up differently.

    This is what you do...

go to your team home page.... at the top there is an option to select "options and ballparks"... click on that. At the bottom of the page you will see a "import/export" button. I haven't tried it yet, but that should work.

    Re: OOTP Help

With 6.5, you just download the league file, and place it in your OOTP folder with the rest of your saves, and just hit load when you start it up.

When you are looking at your team....they call that you team homepage I guess. lol It's not a stupid question at all...it's just OOTP 8 lol That's the one you have...right? When your looking at your team, it should have two options below the top menu bar... "homepage" and "options and ballparks". Do you see that? Options and Ballparks takes you to the team setup stuff.

Yeah i have 8. I'm just confused if you're talking about my team on the website, or my team in the game. cause i don't have a team in the game yet, i haven't made one, and i haven't imported one.

I'm talking about your team in the game, but I see what you mean that you don't have one. Hmmmmmm.....which league are you importing a team from? TPSL?

I don't think any leagues on the forums let you export/import yet, but I may be wrong. The CSSL will allow it once I get everything uploaded. The league has to have a file on a webpage for you to import. Once I get our league file up... I can walk you through it.
