After my brain meltdown and subsequent reinstatement, here's who I am dealing:

MR S. Mitchinson - good reliever coming up on FA. Will want a young reliever to replace him.

OF G. Sizemore - want to get out from underneath his contract.

IF D. Young - great piece for a contender.

CL A. Michaud - stud closer. Want good return.

SP D. Bautista - an arm, costing me the leg as well


Guys I'm willing to part with, but not a necessity:

SP S. Waldrop - signed to a cap-friendly extension. Great pitcher. Want a good return for him.

SP R. Marion - signed long-term. Again, great pitcher. Want a good return for him too.

If the price comes down from a lot coming back San Diego would have interest in Mauer.

I don't mind giving something of substance up, but that contract plus only one elite tool (10 contact) he seems like a risk to me. If he takes a contact hit he's an albatross. With no power and no speed I'm not sure he's a guy I'm willing to break the bank for at 33.

Any late interest in pitching down the stretch for a contender? Marion has a strong track record of good pitching. Yeah he's pricey, but he'd be a great piece for a contender.
