Fernando Hernandez, Eric Hinske, Anthony Veras, Michael DeSousa, Lucio Garcia, and I figure he's probably untradable, but Justin Morneau.

I'd need more of a headline type player like Pickerel kinda was, and the only one remotely close to it is Ibanez, and another contact hitter without power isn't the path i need to go in, and besides you said you didn't want to trade Ibanez anyway.

The only other players I like are at a position I don't really need in Santana, and Lane.

Ill have to see after FA then. Ibanez is my only leadoff type hitter on my team. Patterson was actually better than Pickerel the last 2 seasons and can play a position.

We could try something like this:

Isaac Patterson, Jaime Fernandez, Saul Romero, and your draft pick for Sabatino?

if you are still willing to do this, I might know after FA period 1 if I can afford to make this or not.

I like Helton, Glaus, Ashbaugh, and Jones.... I'd still like to wait until after at least this first free agency sim though.
