    Tonight’s match ups

Beckett has been dominant this year going 8-3 with a 2.27 ERA. He left his last start after 5 innings with a mildly hyperextended left knee which flared up a bit during warm-ups at the All Star game. Josh says he feels fine now, nothing to worry about, the Sox hope he is right, with Lester and Buchholz down they need him.

Niemann is 3-0 since coming off the DL, he got the only win against the Yankees in the series before the break, holding them to one run in 7 1/3 innings. The Rays look to him to salvage this series.

The Red Sox get to take their happy homer butts to Baltimore next while the Rays stay and try to hold off the Yankees.

Dustin Pedroia extended his hitting streak to 14 games.

I mentioned the Captain Morgan fundraiser for the United Way that Johnny Damon was campaigning locally, it is also part of a nationwide drive to get 1 million poses. You can upload a pose to the Captain Morgan USA Facebook page .

    Heeeeeeeeeeere’s Johnny’s…

    Keys to the Game

    1) Healthy Beckett- Still unsure what we'll get if he goes, but a healthy Beckett is key. Kyle Weiland will get the ball if he can't go

    2) Gonzo lets go- Gonzo struggling first 2 games... look for a mega game 3 outta him

    3) Bottom of the Lineup- As the bottom goes, so goes the whole lineup, another big game out of Reddick, Salty, Scutaro and Drew would be huge
