    i don't really know what i could say about this, i'm shocked my team did so well, my hitting came though when my pitching didn't

    w00t way to go. Im sure my players were the sole reason for this run LOL. w00t!!! Out of the cellar with 7-4 sim (including the series with Ana) against strictly the AL West.

    @Anaheim 1-1
    @Texas 1-2 GO Denny 8.1 Shutout!!!
    Vs Oakland 2-1
    vs Seattle 3-0 :eeek:

    And my pitching is actually IMPROVING although over all it sucks stat wise.

    A 6-4 sim.

    Batting AVG: .264 (18th)
    Homeruns: 119 (22nd)
    Walks: 304 (23rd)
    Stolen Bases: 108 (T-13th)
    Runs Scored: 558 (18th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.22 (9th)

    HRs Allowed: 120 (9th)
    Walks Allowed: 352 (T-16th)

    I'm 9 games back of the wildcard. To keep up with the pace, I need to win at least 6 games so I can catch up on St. Louis, Atlanta, Florida, and Philadelphia.

    8-2 sim. Made up some ground on Pit. But I think the division will be decided in the next sim with STL and PIT playing 7 times. I am looking forward to it.

    5-5 Sim. I'm last in the division. My main goal from here on out, it just to win as many games as I can. When we start winning, is when I'll start worrying about going to the playoffs. We have a great team, and once the offseason comes upon us I'll be looking to fill in some holes.

    I think it is about time to start calling up the cornerstones of this team going into next year and hoping for the best.

    The Mets lose Matt Wise for the rest of the season. Matt Wise has been the best pitcher for the Mets, but hopefully Rett Johnson or Bob Keppel will do well in the rotation.

    At least I'll still probably make the wildcard if STL keeps kicking ass and taking names and wins the division.

    Yay exactly where I didnt want to be worst record in baseball again... The future is now and Akridge blanks the Red Sox in his second start. Parrott has come in and pitched all over the place, hes 2-1 but has some great starts and some sorry starts, but thats still better than 85% of the starts I was getting.

    The future is now with the expanded rosters many young AAA prospects will get a chance to play for a spot next year. No spot is guarenteed for my team.

    Eh, I don't see myself make the playoffs this year. I feel like I'm the last manager to not make the playoffs who has stuck with this league since the beginning.
