Strike 3 Sim League 2027 S3SL Random Ramblings: The Remix

Baltimore gets $5,000,000 through revenue sharing.
Boston gets $5,000,000 through revenue sharing.
Seattle gets $5,000,000 through revenue sharing.
Texas gets $5,000,000 through revenue sharing.

Anyone else see anything wrong with this picture? Outside of the fact that half of the NL West is super poor (with Saber and the mighty Angels on top, showing the class parity that exists.)

We are paying for the reigning World Series champs, visitors to the last FOUR World Series to continue their regime. Gen, I believe the only fair thing to do is to divide up Delmonte into 29 pieces and distribute that to the league. That, or call upon Ulyanov to contact his Russian cousins to sell us some old nukes and missiles on the cheap.... this league has made a lot of enemies.

    Revenue Sharing is AL biased.

Re: 2027 S3SL Random Ramblings: The Remix

Jeffrey Hetrick is on a quest this year, to last longer than 3 innings before calling it quits for the season.

Last season was a bit strange in Florida, I actually felt like Wicks was a top 10 NL hitter for the first time since 2022. Amazing what happens when a 4.0 star hitter hits like a 4.0 star hitter.

I can't say I haven't missed Martin, but I am also enjoying Azevedo so I don't regret the deal at all. Obviously the deal has worked out better for you ultimately, but I still think Azevedo will lead me to the promise land.

If Fortuna hits the 69 homers and 185 rbis he is on pace for, I may have a chance!

But I probably won't have a chance to re-sign him...

    6-8 Sim

    Batting AVG: .266 (23rd)
    Homeruns: 19 (7th)
    Walks: 56 (9th)
    Stolen Bases: 20 (6th)
    Runs Scored: 77 (T-15th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.76 (13th)
    Opponents AVG: .266 (8th)
    HRs Allowed: 9 (T-3rd)
    Walks Allowed: 31 (4th)
    Runs Allowed: 66 (7th)

It really isn't about this because.

Wednesday 4/9/2027: Arizona's Alex Morabito crushes homerun #500
ARIZONA - Arizona's rightfielder Alex Morabito already had some highlights in his career, and today he added a historic one, unloading for his 500th career homerun. In the 9th inning he unloaded his 500th blast off Robert Weisman. Perhaps his best year so far was 2018 where he hit .356 with 47 homeruns and 155 RBI. Alex has managed to hit 30+ homeruns in a season 11 times, and he topped 40 homeruns 7 times. 'I still remember my first hit. But the one today is something special. I'll definitely keep that ball!' It's no secret that he will one day be in the Hall of Fame!

Re: 2027 S3SL Random Ramblings: The Remix

7-7 record for Minnesota was hoping for a better start but I guess playing in cold could be a problem for my dome pitchers.

    Batting AVG: .272 (20th)
    Homeruns: 11 (22nd)
    Walks: 64 (T-3rd)
    Stolen Bases: 16 (9th)
    Runs Scored: 83 (10th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.89 (16th)
    Opponents AVG: .280 (18th)
    HRs Allowed: 9 (T-3rd)
    Walks Allowed: 40 (10th)
    Runs Allowed: 76 (T-17th)

Earle Olson and Justin Hickmon carried the offense and it looks like early on at least the twins manufactured a bunch of runs. Berrios and Ramirez are the only two so far to pitch as I expected. Power only pitched in 2 games so Im not ready to call him a success.

I miss having him in Minnesota and thank you OOTP for making my case for him being best hitter for me. .
