    It's true.

They've been nothing short of brilliant in the playoffs too.

Still up in the division...chugging away for a playoff berth

    Batting AVG: .272 (19th)
    Homeruns: 176 (6th)
    Walks: 530 (6th)
    Stolen Bases: 177 (6th)
    Runs Scored: 781 (7th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.30 (5th)
    Opponents AVG: .263 (12th)
    HRs Allowed: 96 (3rd)
    Walks Allowed: 404 (5th)
    Runs Allowed: 670 (9th)

Pulled to within 1.5 games of the WC. Somehow gained 4 games on SF to get within 9 of them, but that is highly unlikely to overtake them. Im torn on Morabito right now, I want him to retire but hes in striking distance of 3000 H and 500 SBs (If i decide to run wild with him). His 17 million dollar contract is hindering my chances to get a major FA thats younger.

Still 3.5 out of the WC

Upcoming series against CLE, NYY, and TOR... when DET has their series against TB, CHW, and MIN

    Not looking real promising

With 11 games left in the season Paul "The Fireman" Galeana is 5 Stolen Bases away from making history, he really turned on the jets this sim, stealing 14 (I think), which makes 90 on the season leading the majors like always, he has only missed getting 90+ SB twice in his career due to injury

Couple more milestones for the Fire one

2500 hits, right now he sits at 2429, he'll next season to get that

and 1500 runs which he only needs 8 more to get

Gained 3.5 for the West but that probably wont happen

3.5 back of STL for the WC. I just love 10 game swings (STL +6, ARI -4).

If this was real world, the MVP voting between Barbosa and Miller would be intense. But it's like Pujols, how can you not give it to Barbosa.

    Again.

    Again.
It should theoretically be a barn burner in the AL MVP vote also between:

    ANA Rolland Michel .321avg 56hr 124rbi 61sb 139runs 68bb
    CLE John Magner .305avg 51hr 132rbi 66sb 135runs 112bb

both went for 50+ HR and 60+ SB (but they are no Barbosa)
