I am going to use a stupid analogy but it kind of fits...

When you through a rock into a pack of dogs, the ones that yelp are the ones that got hit...

I am sorry for doing this in the fashion that I did. I never intended to offend most of you. I hope we can turn my indiscretion into something a bit more positive.

My frustration grew from the league trade market not matching the TC's standard on acouple of occasions. I'll try to hang onto Reyes, Joines, and Galeana (if this trade is vetoed) until something comes along.

    My apologies.

I am glad some of these GM's are a little riled up... At least the rest of us know they are alive. Maybe you got caught on a bad day at a bad moment to respond like this. Why the "Son"???? Are you assuming something here? or is that just your way of... I have never asked for a 5 star in exchange for a 1.5... Your attack is unfounded and based on some misperception.

I hope at some point in the future we can forget this little exchange and play some OOTP.
I've BEEN playing OOTP on here since day one... helping out with the drafts the early seasons AND serving on the trade council as well (Yeah... one of the ones you complained about)....

Don't act like we don't know how to play, how to offer, or not offer... just because you don't get the uber-offers you want for your players does not give you the right to come in here and mouth off against the good group we have in this league....

But... that being said.... it's over... done with... just get back to having some enjoyment in here and don't worry about the rest of us

Sorry, I just find this statement to be ironic.

Nobody mouthed off to you or about you. If you choose to portray yourself as pompous, that's your business. Your two cents are not in line at all with what has been said.

How so? My trades are vetoed because I am not getting enough back, and this is ironic. I honestly don't understand.

I can see that I have made a mistake with this thread. I concede that, but words are being put into my mouth that are just not true. How can I be asking for an "uber-offer" and my trades get vetoed for giving up too much? Is it what I asked for Galeana and Reyes? If so, I can understand that, but give me something I can work with here. If I am wrong, I will admit it. I am not going to get into and who has more OOTP skilss debate because that is NOT the issue and I NEVER insinuated that in any way.

I miss the days of Jason Belcher, young and good, on the Brewers.

...actually I think I left once those days started
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Uh, my comment was directed at Dave, hence I was quoting his statement.

Then, my apologies... I trust you can understand why I might have thought it was directed to me.
