    2018 Baltimore Orioles

Well... for the 2nd season in a row, there is not plan that the Orioles will compete to be in the post season. While the O's are still looking to rebuild, the pride of this franchise will not allow for it to just tank with the worst players possible. A few key acquisitions have been made to fill out the roster while we wait for some key prospects to get ready for the majors. Some of the signings were on pure need, but the big one was out of the need to please the fans some. That, of course, was the signing of long time Baltimore icon Justin Huber to a one year contract. While it is not guaranteed he will stay in the starting lineup, or that he will even remain on the team, the O's had to try and bring him back for probably his last season in the majors.

    The acquisitions:
Justin Huber - Still a 3.5 star catcher, but will probably take over the DH role so 'Stinky' Ocasio can get used to the regular job of starting catcher.

David Sandiford - At 1.0, Sandy is slotted to be the backup catcher, replacing Javier Santamaria. Sandy is a nice contact hitter and decent enough on defense. He can even play a little OF in a pinch, and may see a few starts there during the season to keep his legs fresh.

Joe Torres - The once great pitcher is still a 3.5 star starter. He seems to have a little left in the tank. He was given a 1 year deal to try and prove whether or not he can get it done still. He will anchor this rotation as the # 1 starter.

Chuck Tiffany - Though strangely rated as a 1.0 star reliever, Tiffany's talent is very similar to Senn. As a matter of fact he appears to be a lefty version of Senn. He may find his way to the rotation as a 5th starter, or he will become the lefty that this O's bullpen so badly needs.

    The rotation:

    1) R J. Torres 3.5
    2) L T. Richards 3.5
    3) R A. Carriere 3.5
    4) R J. Senn 2.0
    5) L R. Cabrera 3.0 / L C. Tiffany 1.0
