A lot of people knocked the Gonzalez signing and while he's overpaid (and I don't think you would argue that), I dig it. Hell, he's basically Jess Tiano and I have a good deal of success with him. The additions your brought in really help to make your team into a usual contender. But I do think you could use a few bullpen arms in middle relief to solidify things. Or you could just take out Eaves from the rotation and use him in relief. Because in case Gonzalez has a rough outing and gets pulled in the 4th/5th, you wouldn't want to see that backend of the pen getting used too often. Just my two cents, other than that the lineup has a lot of potential.

dont rush the prospects, you are still the favorite in/should win the NL West.. pitching staff is solid too, though I would set the relievers up differently. Paredes into 1st MR.. Morrison into 2nd SU.

only way Miller should get a call up is when his Contact vs LHP improves to a 6 or 7, his Power goes up to at least 7, and his Eye needs to be at least a 4, a bit more patience with Miller won't hurt at all since he's only 22 right now

too bad i have a little regret trading Miller away since he's the type of prospect i really need right now

OT-well damn i only noticed my post count going over 2000 just now

Mission....Eaves will got to the pen as you suggest, and yes I know I overpaid for Gonzales...but I desperately needed him in the rotation
Stonedrie2...Dont worry, specs wont come up unless I see progress
    Halladay...Yep, Chad Miller will dominate
Haf...Zimmer will get the love as long as he produces ; )

Locked and loaded....ready to roll to about 100-110 wins this year. Tacked on Ian Stewart, Buckholtz and Sisco to make it through the year hopefully.

San Diego here. With all the wins I'm going to give you this year. You could even get more if you want Hooper (MR) or Sarabia (SP). Just remember that when trade deadline comes along. I still have four veterans of value. Though I doubt you'd be interested in the bats.

IMO, you should have kept Crum if it was possible.

Boss, I feel comfortable saying that if you don't take the Series this year, that its the most disappointing loss in at least MY tenure here in the league.

Well, I doubt it was b/c A)thats a guy Bwitty wanted, B)I needed some guys of substance to pass the deal. Plus.....and the biggest factor was that all my positional players and Top 2 specs were untouchable.

Is that like, 'win for one for the Gipper'?
