Why GG's don't mean anything anymore

Andruw Jones was awarded his 10th National League Gold Glove on Tuesday.
There was a rare Gold Glove tie in the outfield, with Aaron Rowand and Jeff Francoeur both getting awards behind Jones and Carlos Beltran in the balloting. Greg Maddux won his 17th, while Orlando Hudson and Derrek Lee both earned their third. First-time winners were catcher Russell Martin, shortstop Jimmy Rollins and third baseman David Wright. Martin over Yadier Molina and Rollins over Omar Vizquel are surprises.
Need I say more? Andruw Fatass Jones got another GG on pure name recognition. This is worse than Cameron's last season, the last two Bonds won and that's all I can come up with now.

Jones definitely didn't deserve this one, he was slow in CF.

I dont think it was a name recognition award for Jones, because he put similar defensive numbers like he did in his previous years, plus he only had 2 errors the whole year with a .995 FPCT.

Jones' range has been shit over the past four seasons and get worse every year. He was not the best of the best.

And what about my guy Mark Ellis and his record setting fielding percentage last year? He was robbed.

All the times Biggio robbed guys like Bret Boone throughout the years at 2B.. far worse.

Also, Wright could not have been in the top defensive 3B. Travesty!
