A tear came to my eye remembering the many base tossing tirades of Lou Pinella. Even Lou would say this was one of the better explosions by a manager. He'll get fined for tossing the bats and probably blocking the umpires locker room but most of that was just Baseball manager being a baseball manager.

I also loved how Kolby got the heck out of Dodge when he saw the loon dive head first into the bag. That was great. It was Hillarious... 2 thumbs way up and a comedic rating of out 5 from me.

I thought it was pretty funny. He was an A-ball manager for the Colorado Rockies organization, and threw a tirade worthy of Earl Weaver and Lou Pineilla.

He was suspended 7 days, and fired $1,000, and will not be fired by the Rockies.

I think he should be suspended, or fined more. This guy is in Single A, and his responsibility is to develop players, not only talent wise, but also teach them how to be professionals. I'm not going to go as far as to fire him, because from what I hear, Mikuluk is good at his job, and will be an asset to another organization. However, I would have suspended him 10-14 days, and given a $2,000 or so fine.

One thing you got to remember...

Minor League Managers dont make that much. Especially A ball managers. If this had been (insert MLB manager here) making 6 figures yes you probably seen a larger fine, but A ball you got to keep perspective of how much money they make. Yes this was stupid but you cant fine him some inexorbanant amount.

Haha! what's the greatest moment from this video? I'm not sure. Him pulling out the base like Lloyd McClendon, or entirely covering up homeplate with dirt, then going Milton Bradley and tossing bats onto the field from the dugout, or pouring water onto homeplate to clean it up nicely from the umps and slamming the water bottle. But I've got to agree, the best has got to be his head-first dive into second base, lol.

That was as good as Sweet Lou. Someone needs to find the one where he tripped up the dugout to argue.
