Great news for M's fan but the bad news is Pineiro is still there. Not but it is a nice break for the M's.

That is a huge relief. But what do with Borchard is still beyond me.

well, that is good news and it strengthens the bench.
Borchard is nothing special right now. He is having an average spring with us. He has a wealth of talent, but he hasn't proved he can hit ML pitching yet. Stick him at AAA or maybe give him the last bench spot, but it isn't necessary to have him on the ML squad. We need to Lawton, Bloomie, and Petagine on the bench before him for sure.Originally Posted by Porter99
MF- he doesnt have minor league options, so its either we keep him or pray he makes it thru waivers.

Wow... What a break for you guys, hopefully Reed can have a better year at the plate for the M's.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
Thats still remained to be seen. Id wish Borchard plays up to his potential so it would be a very intresting situation but right now. i dont know what the M's should do with him.
