    Jeff Clement

He's hitting .360 in the Arizona Fall League. Has a .500 OBP% and a .680 SLG%, he has 2 jacks too. Apparently everyone is convinced that his bat is pretty much major league ready, but his defense needs a little seasoning. If he comes in to ST and continues to swing a hot bat and the M's are convinced that he could help the team in '06 would you bring him up? Probably platoon him with Torrealba, and DH him every now and then. It would be quick for a guy drafted last year, especially for a guy who doesn't play great defense right now. Thoughts?

Considering our very favorable Catcher situation. id say see what he does defensively in ST and during the course of the 06 season. If he improves there id call him up then. Thats just my 2 cents.
