Silva is currently rehabilitating by sleeping on the beds of money he has made from Seattle.It doesn't help him get over his "injury", but it does wonders for his peace of mind knowing that he has financial security by just going out there and doing what he does best, lose ballgames.

Vargas is okay, he should be better than a 8 ERA hack that makes 12 million dollars over the next 3 god damn seasons.

Vargas had a good start considering he was in Texas versus a Ranger offense that can kill anyone right now.
The funny thing is. If he can be decent then when Roland-Smith comes back Jasabauskas ends up back in the bullpen.

Could somebody POSSIBLY explain what the Mariners were thinking when they gave this man $12 mil over 3 seasons? This could very well be a worse contract than the Pavano one. At least Carl had SOME success in the past before the contract......
