    Carl Pavano (2-2, 4.80) vs. Julio Mateo (1-0, 0.41)

Im at school so i cant use Firefox to my advantage for pics. Anyways can Mateo last at leas five inning? Will the Yanks continue to pound the weaklings? Its a day off from the Weakest Link.

Julio Mateo isn't going to strike out more than 3 or so tonight, which is completely fine by me. His game is to get guys out, that is it. Hopefully that will allow him to keep his pitch count down and go at least 6 because our pen does not look nearly as good now as it did a week ago. Nelson or Thorton will probably have to be used tonight, but I think we could also see Campillo.

    Sheff flies out to right.

    Good start for Mateo.

Just what he needed, threw strikes, and kept the pitch count low, only threw 8 pitches.

Top of the order is up.

Mariners go down in order, capped off by Beltre striking out.

    F*ck. We suck.

Posada and Giambi get back to back singles to drive in 2. Still only one out.

Let's hope the Mets can give NY a run for their money.

I am not banking on it though.
