    Series Thread: Indians vs M's

I wont be able to make any of these games this weekend so im doing a series thread.

    Pitching Matchups:
    Westbrook (2-2, 5.60) vs Moyer (1-2, 3.55)
    Lee (2-2, 3.31) vs Pineiro (3-2, 4.26)
    Sabathia (1-0, 4.91) vs Washburn (2-4, 3.79)

We send our big 3 to go against Westbrook, Lee and Sabathia. This will be Sabathia's 1st start on the road since coming off the DL. Jarrod Washburn has a 0.99 WHIP this season so far. Im really liking that Lee vs Pineiro matchup on Saturday. The interesting thing will be if the M's get a lead who will they go to in the 9th inning to get the save. Im hoping for Soriano but Putz is the safer bet. Sherill has also shown he could do it too.

    Prediction
Today- Indians 5, M's 4: WP- Betacourt, LP- Green, SV- Wickman, HR- Sexson, JLopez, Hafner, Blake
Sat- M's 3, Indians 2: WP- Pineiro, LP- Lee, SV- Putz, HR- None
Sunday- Indians 3, M's 2: WP- Sabathia, LP- Guardado, HR- Hafner

    TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)

Soriano has been very hittable lately including today (giving the Indians the lead) ... Putz is clearly the closer right now.

The ironic thing about the whole game of a 9-4 beatdown of the M's was.

    Code:
Pitcher IP H R ER BB K HR Season ERA
    E. Guardado 1.0 1 0 0 1 1 0 7.59

More good stuff from Pineiro last night, I can dig it.

Boring game going on right now, Washburn and Sabathia are keeping the hitters cool through 2.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
