    Giants/Dodgers 9/7

Schmidt vs Weaver and the Giants have struck first. 2-1 as Snow and Alou have RBI hits. Schmidt walks the leadoff guy then gives up a double, not a good start.

Cruz homers giving the Dodgers a 4-2 lead. Schmidt is looking rough giving up four runs and getting just one out. TWo nights in a row with a homer for Cruz against his former team. Kent is also killing his former team.

Schmidt is having a hard time with his control. This doesn't look goos for the Giants' chances.

Could Schmidt be hurt? It's not like him to have control problems.

Schmidt left the game with groin problems (imagine that). Giants blew another game to the Dodgers making the Giants 6 games out. Its a long road but with 7 games against the Pads left, something could happen but with two blown games against the Dodgers I just can't see that happening.
