    Giants Giants Get Mike Fontenot?

    Giants acquired 2B Mike Fontenot from the Cubs for OF Evan Crawford.
    It's awfully hard to improve a team after the July 31 trade deadline, but this is still a hard one to understand. Fontenot has posted a meager .284/.332/.402 batting line in 169 at-bats for the Cubs this season and is no better than Freddy Sanchez defensively. He's not even a solid backup.
    What the **** Sabean?? This is no help whatsoever! I mean we didn't give up anything worth a **** but didn't really gain anything either. Sanchez, Burriss and Fontenot are all virtually the same. Thanks for nothing Sabean.
