    Giants Dodgers @ San Fran

The Giants are 6-4 in their last ten games including a five game winning streak and a seven game streak in which the Giants ERA was 0.98. The had a chance to sweep the DBacks yesterday but realized Matt Cain was throwing so they had blow any chance of him getting a win. Now they go home to face the Dodgers. Giants are 6-2 at home this season.

    Game One

Randy Wolf (1-1, 4.26 ERA) versus Barry Zito (0-2, 5.63 ERA)

Zito pitched a beauty in his last outing which also came at home. Sandoval was the receiver of that gem and is likely to be that man again since Molina caught all 12 innings of yesterday's game. Zito went seven scoreless and walked none his last time out so let's hope he keeps it up against the hated Dodgers. Manny Ramirez has just a .222 lifetime average against Zito which is encouraging.

Any chance of a Zito semi-comeback? Or do you think last start was just a fluke?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Zito is facing a much better offense but I can see him finding mild success against the Dodgers. He threw the ball with much better velocity last game with better command. Sandoval seems to be his guy too.

Velez was finally sent down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo ****ing hoo!!! Matos is being brought up to help the bullpen. Another excuse for Bochy not to use Valdez.

    Check out this terrible lineup:
    1. Lewis
    2. Renteria
    3. Winn
    4. Aurilia
    5. Rowand
    6. Sandoval
    7. Uribe
    8. Burriss

Aurilia has a .167 BA against Wolf so why the **** is he batting cleanup? Rowand is hitting .333 against Wolf and having a better year so far. I like Aurilia starting against the lefty over Ishikawa but not in the ****ing cleanup spot.

3-0 after one!! Dodgers OF helped us out by dropping a Renteria pop fly, Kemp misjudged a liner for a RBI triple for Winn, Rowand did a great job hitting with two strikes for a RBI double and Sandoval gets a RBI single on a bad throw from Kemp at the plate. Great to get Zito a lead.

3-0 after six for Zito and he has looked great! Just watched an inning long interview with Barry Bonds and he seems to be in good spirits. Good to see him after all this time!

Dodgers finally get to Zito with Blake hitting a 2 run shot. 3-2 now in the T-7th and Zito will call it a night after 6.1 IP. He looked great giving up just five hits but only one hurt. Valdez is in and Torres goes to CF.

Bochy brings in Valdez in a 3-2 ballgame and of course he blows it! He hasn't pitched in two ****ing weeks!!! What the **** was he thinking? I wanted Valdez to come in when it 3-0 but 3-2. He did get hosed on a strike three call but ****!

Manny gives the Dodgers the lead 4-3 and Valdez is staying in the game for some reason after giving up two runs (only one is his). Valdez gets the long awaited double play and now the Giants have to come back. I ****ing hate you Bruce Bochy!!!

Wilson pitches another scary 9th but shuts it down and the Giants have a nice comeback win after blowing it in the first place. Zito has pitched two beauties and has nothing to show for it but the Giants did win those games!
