Giants still haven't hit a homerun and only have one extra base hit. In three games versus a good Dodger team, the Giants only scored 4 runs.

Game One- Jonathan Sanchez vs Carlos Villanueva. In Sanchez's only game against the Brewcrew he struck out nine while giving up....8 ERs. Ouch! Let's hope he can get us to a .500 record.

Game Two- Kevin Correia vs Manny Parra. Correia has a 3.72 ERA in two games against the Brewers. Correia had some shoulder issues but doesn't seem to be a problem now.

Game Three- Barry Zito vs Ben Sheets. Sheets looked great in his first game while Zito looked awful. This could be a long game for us Giants fans. Zito needs to throw a fastball for a strike to be effective.

2 out of 3 for the Brewers. Game Three could be a long one if Zito isn't effective, I'm guessing the Giants steal a victory in one of the first 2.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

hey reefer, dont be surprised if your Giants steal one tomorrow. Usually after the Brewers score 10+ runs in a game, they have traditionally struggled for runs the next day. I hope they dont, but just always seems to happen. Plus Parra could probably use some more starts in AAA. I personally dont think he is quite ready. But that is just me.

I dissagree, tyhe guy looked liek a very talented pitcher in the major league last year and will probobly be mvoed to the bullpen as a middle reliver once gallardo comes back in, or maybee he will go down to the minor leagues but i think he should be used in villaneuvas sport last year as the long, or middle reliver.

    We're having fun now.

Are the Giants the worst team in baseball?

I am sure Parra will fill the role of Villanueva from last year. Long relief and spot start, especially with Capuano on the DL.

Good luck to the Giants today. And I mean that in good sprtsmanship, and not as a smart a**

yes I do. I have been a Brewers fan since 1977. I quite familiar with teams that don't have much of a chance, and I hated it when people rubbed it in that the Brewers stunk up the joint.

Kapler just hit a solo homerun, 5-3 Brewers.
