The Giants open their longest homestand of the season, a 10-day job starting Monday, and face the Rockies for three, the Phillies for four and the Mets for three.
The three-game series against Colorado marks their last at home in National League West play until the Rockies come in again on May 25-27.
Ten of their next 26 games are against the Rockies, the only division rival they play until traveling to Phoenix again from June 4-7 at the tail end of an eastern swing.
The Giants finish April on Monday and have a 9-11 mark against the four other teams in the own division, including their most recent three-game sweep at the hands of the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
Pitching matchup
COL: RHP Josh Fogg (1-1, 5.79 ERA)
Fogg was 1-1 with a 3.75 ERA against the Giants last year. It'll be his first start against them in 2007.
SF: LHP Noah Lowry (2-2, 3.38)
Lowry looked stellar in his start against the Dodgers on Wednesday, limiting Los Angeles to seven hits in 6 2/3 innings in the Giants' 6-4 win. Lowry will open up the Giants' third home series with a 1-4 lifetime record against Colorado, but if the lefty's curveball continues to jam batters like it did the Dodgers, then Lowry will surely lower his 7.74 career ERA against the Rockies.
Player to watch
Love him or hate him, Barry Bonds always has an impact. Including a pinch-hit, four-pitch walk Sunday, he was on base nine times out of 10 chances during the three-game Arizona series: a hit-by-pitch, four intentional walks, two regular walks, a deep infield single and his 742nd career homer.
