Game one will feature Russ Ortiz (1-1, 5.27 ERA) going against his old team for the first time since he was practically thrown away as garbage. Doug Davis (1-1, 3.38 ERA) will be pitching for the DBacks. Aurilia has a 12 game hitting streak going into this series and hitting in front of Bonds helps. Bonds has a .429 BA with one homer against Davis in his career.

Game two will have our "ace" Barry Zito (1-2, 5.29 ERA) trying to build off his last start in which he had six shutout innings. Edgar Gonzalez (1-1, 5.40 ERA) will take the hill for the DBacks. Gonzalez hasn't faired well against SF in his career even though he has a winning record. He is 2-1 with an ERA of 11.00. Bonds is 1-4 with a homer in 4 ABs against Gonzalez. Zito is 1-1 with a 1.23 ERA against Arizona for his career.

Game three will have a real ace3 looking for his first win of the season. Matt Cain (0-1, 1.80 ERA) will be going against Micah Owings (1-1, 2.93 ERA). Cain has 17 K's in 20 IP.

Giants win 4-2, the game wasn't on tv again! Because of the Sharks being in the playoffs.
Feliz hit a grounder to 2b and Hudson threw it for an error which allowed Bonds, and Durham to score in the 1st inning. Bonds went 2-4, 2 runs, Aurilla extended his hitting streak! Ortiz pitched solid, 7 ip 2 er 8 hits 2 bb. Benitez got the save after walking 2 guys.

Taschner has been doing a solid job and is one of the bright spots in this bullpen so far. Bonds is tearing the cover off the ball lately and that contributes to Aurilia's success.

Giants win! 4 in a row baby! 1-0. Zito pitches a gem, Bonds goes yard! Benitez gets another stressful save!

Giants sweep, Bonds homers again and Cain pitches a 3 hit complete game. Cain finally gets his first win and is probably the best pitcher in the NL right now alongside Rich Hill.
