    Giants should consider Lidge

The Giants should consider getting Brad Lidge. So far the Giants have a 4.91 ERA with batters hitting .302 against our bullpen. Going into this season we knew this was our main weakness. At this point, we could get Lidge by not having to give up that much. Lidge needs a change of scenery badly and a coach who believes in him. If Bochy believes in Benitez, then he will definitely believe in Lidge. Righetti could help get his confidence back and fix his mechanics like he has done so well for others. Only problem is the fact that Lidge makes over $5 mil a season. Lidge could benefit from playing in spacious San Francisco rather than the shoebox in Houston. He still has a mid-90's fastball but his slider isn't fooling anyone. He still has the talent and maybe Righetti can bring him back. The Giants have made no effort to look at him but he should be considered as an option to try and get this bullpen together.

Great idea, because maybe change of venue can help a psychy of a pitcher like you stated.

I know one thing for sure, Lidge doesn't seem to have any chance of succeeding in Houston anymore.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.
