    Giants @ Atlanta

Schmidt got his dick knocked in the dirt giving up 8 runs (3 earned) in 3 1/3 IP. The Giants had four errors and Schmidt walked four guys which doesn't equal success. Taschner got hit hard in relief to add to his shitty year. Hillendbrand stayed hot going 4-5 with 3 RBI including a homerun. Bonds was the big story though. He hit two homeruns and robbed a homerun from Francoeur. Giants lose 13-8.

Hennessey couldn't hold it together and the Giants lose 5-3. That's two losses in a row and they are now three games out of first. Bonds went 1-1 and has his average up to .258, much improved from .243 early last week. Hennessey has struggled in his last three starts so I say give Jonathan Sanchez his start next time in the rotation.

Giants win the last game f the series 8-6. Bonds went 2-3 to remain hot at the plate and Sweeney had a good game too. I haven't had a chance to say that in a while. Bullpen looked scary for a second but Stanton and Benitez finished it out and Linden hit a homerun. Now its time for those Cubbies.
