    Sweeney is a very fine player in a reserve role. He came here to fill that role and he has. I do not think of him as a starter and I do not think he does either.

    Sweeney is the best first baseman we got and needs to be in there five days a week. Vizcaino looks horrible over there and can't hit. Sweeney has been driving in runs in a lot less ABs than most of the guys.

    If we are talking about the Giant options in house I agree! But, I feel they need to go outside the team at least for a quick fix until a kid in the minors is ready!

    There is no quick fix for that. We have no real proespects at first. Travis is years away if he's even good enough to ever make it.
