Kash, Padrefan is right. Guys like Piazza, Giles, Cameron, Greene and possibly Barfield could all be 20+ HR's this year.

The point is, they could really use Klesko's power bat right about now, which is missing from Gonzo.

Kash, Klesko hasn't been the player he used to be since he left Atlanta. It's bee one injury excuse after another. 3 years ago it was his shoulder, 2 years ago it was his neck, last year it was his shoulder again, it's always some excuse with him as to why he's not hitting.

Maybe Klesko circa 2002 I'd agree with you.

The Beavers' website said he was "released" but you're right, he would have gone through waivers first....

don't mind me, that was just my feeble attempt at a joke.

I meant I had no clue as to the legal process in which they used to no longer have him attached to the team.

Just thought you guys should see this....

Out of the 5 starters for AAA Portland, not one of them has an ERA under 4.50. Turns out, they also have their own Dewon Brazelton....Ryan Meaux...9.2IP 18.62 ERA.
