Minor Padre moves

I figured this might be an easy way to see the minor deals that the Padres make such as the following........ Oxspring was delt to a Japanese team for $550,000 and is replaced on the 40man roster by Pete Laforest...... I had thought that Oxspring was an up and comer.......guess not !

Nice! Can't go wrong with adding a canadian to your roster. Good move by the Padres.

This guy might be a diamond in the rough.......so to speak........gave up a very young kid though........hmmm

I like Kenny Baugh. I always have. He hasn't had the same stuff since coming back from shoulder problems, but he could someday be a 5th starter/middle reliever, and maybe even a pretty good one. I don't know why, I've always thought this guy had a decent future.

Free agent pitcher Doug Brocail passed his physical on Thursday and put the finishing touches on a one-year, $1 million deal with the Padres, the Associated Press reported.

That's a LOT easier said than done. And no, Millwood is not coming here.

Wait till next year for that. They are only doing what they can for 2006, you really shouldn't be suprised.

I'm not surprised by the moves......it's some of the personell involved with the moves that is amazing me......
