Kahlil Greene to the DL

Just what we need is another injury. Today Khahil Greene was placed on the DL with a broken toe suffered in yesterday's butt kicking by the Phillies. As if the sweep wasn't bad enough we lose yet another player this year. The good news is that he's expected to miss 2-3 weeks and should be back in plenty of time to get hot for the post season...........that is providing we can somehow locate some pitching, hitting, fielding & coaching.......lol

Wilson Valdez is getting the call up and will be playing the majority of SS while Greene is out........that is if he's up to the MLB task

Oh, and realm, Olivo hasn't exactly been "no stick" since putting on a Padres uniform (too bad I can't say the same for the majority of the offense )

Olivo has just been horrible to the tune of batting .306, slugging .611, 3HR in his short stint here, while picking off guys and hosing out base runners........yah Miguel Ojeda who ?

Yes Hollywood........that's exactly what I was screaming too......why bring up this guy when we have multiple existing guys that could fill in for 3 weeks, that have been filling in all year. I just don't get this move at all.....

But then I'm still trying to figure out why Klesko is still playing the OF and not 1b, and why a former allstar OFer ( Fick ), and league leader in assists one year is riding the bench and platooning at 1st........what the hell do I know?

Sure seems like we have many guys out of position, and that right now Bochy sure doesn't know what he's doing. IMO
