Then why call Maddux a "pussy" and "a coward"? He never said he wasn't going to pitch to him right?

I will give Bonds his due credit, how the hell he hit that pitch high and away I'll never know. That was so far out of the strike zone and he went up and got it.

After reading the full article, pitching around him means exactly what it means. He didn't do what he said and I was glad. Then you failed to read it and five days later have a problem with it.

The problem I had was, you took his comments to mean he wasn't going to pitch to him, which isn't what he said at all. If Bonds comes up with 2 on, he's right, you pitch around him so he doesn't hurt you.

Would you pitch to Pujols with the game on the line? Hell no, you pitch around him and hope he doesn't hurt you.

By the way, I thought for sure Bonds was going to fall on his ASS on that swing last night. The kid threw him a fastball and Bonds' eyes just lit up. He took the hardest swing I think I've seen him take and I thought for sure he was going to land on his ass. Then got the yacker, which he was way out in front on.
