How are you supposed to win ballgames when you can't even score a run? Imagine being Boomer up there, throwing three near perfect innings against a great offense without any help at all to start the game.

It doesn't help that the fans aren't making much noise either. This sucks.

Ugh, two more runners stranded to end the 5th inning and now David Wells is out of the game. This offense has been stagnant so far.

Today was most frustrating, there is no doubt, but this is not a case were we can really blame the players, this goes right on the heads of the coaching staff and KT and the most frustrating of frustrating part of it is how can you yell at the guys who got us to the post season in first?

The only player who is comfortable in his batting spot is Roberts, who has been lead off all year, but the rest have been shuffled so much if they were a deck of cards they would have disintegrated by now. Logic says put them in a set order and leave them there as much as possible so they can get a rhythm going, but not the Pads, hell do we ever have the same batting order 3 days in a row?

And what is up with this Pitching rotation? During the year we had a guy in the minors who was better than two of the starters on the rosters, which Stauffer more than proved when he was called in with less than 12 hours notice and early even for his own minor league teams rotation to pitch a key game for us and not only did he win it for us, he did it in spectacular fashion, but he was on a plane back to the minors less than 24 hours latter. In the post season the rotation should have been Woody, Wells{if you have to have a lefty here}, Young {should be second on effort over the year}, Peavy and what do we have, almost the reverse of what it should be, WTF.

But still, we have landed on our feet all year long, why would it change now? How’s this for a hypothesis, this has been done intentionally, not to lose, but to put our best effort forward on the road, this team has been road warriors all year long and not so hot at home, if we are going to succeed, it will be on the road.

All I can say is don’t make other plans for Saturday, I have had this team buried so many times this year I have lost count and they just keep digging themselves back out, I swear they are worse than that chick on Kill Bill. They may be down, so what else is new, that is far from out with this team.
