    He's already better than all 3Bs used in 2006 combined.

    —3B Akinori Iwamura is drawing interest from the Padres. Iwamura, a member of Japan's winning team in the World Baseball Classic, hit .311 with 32 homers and 77 RBIs for the Yakult Swallows last season. He is a left-handed hitter.

    I wouldn't claim that until I see him replicate his success here, but with a resonable price, he is worth the risk considering there is a shortaged of third basemen out there in FA and they might need a plan "B" for Headley. He also has to replicate his success in the Majors and Akinori's experience in Japan is a lot more reliable bench mark than Headley's in the Minors.
