    Padres

    Interesting thing happened in tonights game. In the top of the 2nd Vin Scully commented on the number 39 on the back side of the mound and stated that the grounds crew does that for all starters. Then in the bottom of the 2nd as soon as Bellhorn homered, Penny X'd out the 39......

    He sure settled down after what should have been a big first inning, but again we can't get a timely hit......probably could have gotten inside that kids head early...oh well... we'll take 2-3
