Hollywood.........am I wrong in thinking that you just pulled those two names out of the hat so to speak and tossed them out there... and that you could have just have easily said Peavy/Gonzalez to make the same point? .....and of course that should be out of the question also.......

Providence, you can't prove that Zito won't be traded before the deadline other than that statement from Billy Beane saying he won't be traded. But how many GM's have made that statement, then turned around and traded that same player?

yes, that's pretty much what I did. Randomly pulled out two names that I figured Beane, based on talent alone, would accept.

Wrong I asked for some kind of REALISTIC proposal and that's what he gave. Alot more than you or anyone else did. He didn't just pull two names out of a hat either. Quit ****ing kidding yourself. Common sense should ****ing tell it won't ever happen!!!
