Reefer, what do you care if the Padres have a chance or not at Zito? Fans talk about 'what ifs' Reefer, it's part of what makes us "fans". I don't have the facts to say for absolute certainty that Zito will be traded to the Padres, nor do you have the facts that he won't be traded. It's all hearsay right now. Zito has told XX Sports Radio in San Diego that he would love to play in his hometown and the A's GM has said he won't be traded. How many times has a GM said a player won't be traded and that player gets traded anyway?

Reefer, why are you wanting us to prove something you can't disprove? The Zito rumors are exactly that, they're rumors or opinions. All that is being said about Zito is hearsay at this point and nothing else. You can't prove it won't happen, and us Padre fans can only hope it does.
